This Challenge seeks to inspire and support creative, diverse, and multidisciplinary teams to create game‑changing innovations that will help transform the food system.
Competitive grants and prizes are awarded for innovations targeting the white space where three domains intersect: safe and nutritious food; sustainably produced; and accessible, appealing, affordable, and trusted. These domains reside within a food policy framework, where innovations can be implemented within existing or future policy.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only
thing that ever has.”
Since 2021, we have received over 5,000 submissions from teams of innovators, entrepreneurs, academic and research institutions, and non-profits, each focusing on high impact innovations to transform the food system.
